Trips & Cruises
Alvor Boat Trips depart and return to the first pier in Alvor, on the riverfront next to the old fish market. Occasionally for operational reasons we have some departures from the marina in Praia da Rocha and on those occasions we arrange free transfers by car from Alvor and surrounding hotels.
Fishing Trips 08:30-12:30 & 14:30-18:30 (4hr trip)
Whether you fish a lot or it is your first time, you will not be disappointed on our fishing trips. Luís uses modern fish finding equipment and knows all the best spots to catch Sea Bass, Black, Red & Sea Bream, Garfish, Conger Eel, Grouper, Snapper, Octopus and Squid, to name a few. We encourage you to take the fish with you when you disembark.
All equipment and bait supplied free of charge, along with refreshments & sandwich.

Coastal Cruises - 10:30, 14:30 & 17:00 (3hr cruise)
We take you on an adventure through the nature reserve of Alvor’s river estuary into the Atlantic Ocean. Highlighting Alvors rich and varied history throughout the ages. Hugging the coast towards Lagos and/or Portimão and beyond, we visit isolated, quiet secluded coves, away from the crowded beaches. You will have plenty of opportunities to enjoy the local wildlife, seeing the birds nesting in the spectacular cathedral-like rock formations along the rugged cliffs and stopping to swim and snorkel in the clear blue waters amongst the fish.
This is a guided sightseeing trip with commentary by our experience local multilingual crew. All equipment supplied free of charge, along with complimentary refreshments.

Silves River Day Cruise (Alvor Flor Do Sol)
(Times vary subject to the tide)
(1.5hr cruise each way with a stopover for 2 hours in Silves = total 6hrs)
When the tide is high we can take you up river through the beautiful countryside beyond Portimão to the historical castle town of Silves. With our eco-friendly solar boat there is no engine noise and zero pollution so you can enjoy nature in its purest form. Once there you can disembark and explore the town during our stopover. On our return trip you can just sit back and relax, and enjoy refreshments including light lunch on board all included in the price.

To catch up on some sightseeing and learn about the local history why not try our trip around the nature reserve of the Alvor river estuary.
